“Field Instrument” + “Ghosts of Las Vegas” Projects Featured in Newly Published Book

Two public art proposals designed and planned in collaboration with Jonathon Anderson (Ryerson) and Dave Rowe (UNLV) were featured in Caryn Brause’s new book, The Designer’s Field Guide to Collaboration, published by Routledge in 2017. The first project, “Ghosts of Las Vegas,” proposed a glowing wall featuring CNC sculpted reliefs of Las Vegas signage from throughout the 20th century. The second project, “Field Instrument,” proposed a dense, circular array of vertical poles oriented to create gradient views of the surrounding landscapes in a park in Broomfield, Colorado.
